Direct to shape inkjet printing with robots
After one year of development and testing, we achieved the Milestone 1 goals of our #DTS-Innosuisse-project and printed with a single color on a 2D surface. This allowed us to gain the necessary information to now develop a 4-color DTS inkjet system with a path error compensation and start printing on #3D-surfaces.
For this project, we are working together with MABI Robotic AG which provided the MAX-100 6-axis robot and Polytype which provided us their Calmar printing system. Thanks to MABI Robotic, Polytype and Innosuisse for their continuing support.
