Benoît Sahli has completed an apprenticeship as automation technician. Then he studied a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering in Fribourg. There he got specialized on lightweight structures design and simulation, related to metal, plastic or composite.
After graduating in 2019, Benoît gained experience as Mechanical Engineer in Sion, in the field of hydro-electric power plant, such as Grande Dixence. The various projects were subject to calculation, maintenance or replacement of steel component under water pressure (for example penstock, valve, pelton-injector, turbopump, …)
Finally, Benoît started at iPrint as R&D Engineer in additive manufacturing. Combining all his skills would allow him to design, build, program and test a custom 3D printer.
