Raphaël Wenger studied microtechnics engineering with a focus on robotics at BFH Biel. After graduation, he worked a couple year in a startup commercializing bioprinters. In 2015 he joined the iPrint Institute where he leads the engineering of the bioprinting research group. In the meantime, he completed a Master in Biomedical Engineering (University of Bern) to further develop his cross-competences in biomedical applications. Raphaël’s main research interests are the translation of industrial inkjet towards bioprinting and the extrusion of bioactive polymers for implants.
