Muriel Mauron

Muriel Mauron obtained her Master in chemical and biological engineering at EPFL Lausanne in 2007. During her master thesis she worked on recombinant yeasts cell culture in bioreactors. She worked during 6 years at Ilford in Marly as product engineer. She was in charge of the development of new inkjet photo papers and optical layers on curtain coating pilot machines. She was also responsible for the transfer of these new products in production (scale-up) and for the products quality during the production phase. In 2014, she joined the iPrint Institute in the bioprinting group. Her main competences at iPrint are: mammalian cells culture (including viability tests and fluorescent microscopy); cells printing in hydrogels; biodegradable polymers (characterization and degradation tests); inks and hydrogels characterization.
